There is a young man claiming to be on the Rice Golf team and soliciting donations for 3 of their members to participate in a tournament to be held in Scotland in April. He claims that his mother Carol lives at 23rd and Oxford. I called Drew Scott, the golf coach at Rice and he said that they are not fund raising at this time, have no members participating in any overseas tournaments and no one on the team fits the description of the young man that came to my door.
The young man is about 5'6, 175 lbs, blond hair,looks to be about 20. He has paperwork with the Rice logo on it.
