This was forwarded from a neighbor in Timbergrove. There is a suspect working the neighborhood and is probably targeting older and/or female residents.
Ailleen put herself in a dangerous situation yesterday and had her son not showed up, it could have been tragic.
The below suspect knocked on Ailleen's door (on Nashua) and told her he was from TERMINEX and was working on the apartments behind her house on N. Durham. He told her he had found termites in her fence. He asked to speak to the man of the house. Of course she gave up the info that there was none. He said the apartment management was going pay for the damages. He hit two hot topics for her: the apts. and something for free.
The supect told her he needed her to walk behind the garage with him so he could show where the damage was. As she walked out the door he went back and opened her back door and looked inside. He did this to probably to verify she was alone and get a peek at whatever she had.
As they were walking back to the garage Ailleen's son, Jimmy, drove up. The suspect told him he was from TERMINEX and was advising on termite damage. He told Jimmy to wait there and he would go around to the apartments and point out the damage from the other side. He thought that was odd because the guy was wearing a light colored wind suit and not a TERMINEX uniform. He was carrying a clip board as a prop. The suspect left hurriedly and never showed up at the apartments.
It is very possible he was going to disable Ailleen behind the garage and rob her. He was working solo so he would have had to do something with her to get back in her house and finish the job.
Suspect: Hispanic / male, 25-35 yrs. old, clean cut with a thick moustache.
Vehicle: late model white Chevy pick up, white camper shell, Virginia lic. plates.
