This is what I gathered from the Greater Heights SNC summary notes from their last meeting on 12/15/10. We would have to check with Rep. Farrar's office to get a copy of the minutes of their meeting concerning I-10 construction. I wish there where a way to get all those Katy, Cypress and Cinco Ranch residents to have to pay for some of this construction and headache it is going to cause.

I-10 Construction

We learned that the Texas Department of Transportation has ramped up its plans for I-10 construction along the southern border of the Greater Heights. Construction contracts should be going in next month for the highway expansion project, which also includes new access roads, moving entrances, and eventually building new retention ponds on 30 acres near the intersection of White Oak Bayou with I-10. While it is probably too late to influence the plans as the impact assessments were performed many years ago, the GHSNC Infrastructure Drainage, and Flooding Committee will monitor progress.
