History of Norhill
The name Norhill comes from the geographical location
of the neighborhood "north" and "higher in elevation" than
the Houston Business District of the 1920's after the 1st World War. William
C Hogg was Chairman of the City Planning Commission and played a major role
in the creation of the neighborhood.
